Hello from Stourbridge

Post by ssray »

I have just acquired a tatty(but with tax and mot) 1999 Burghman 400x, I picked it up last sunday and this morning stuck the battery on charge, cleaned the air filter and airbox, checked the carb and tipped a bit of rust out of the float bowl
next i need to put a sleeve over the bit of exhaust that has broken through and have that welded, strip and grease the brakes

I have never ridden a scooter, large or otherwise(c90 count?) currently I Have ntv650 that i have fitted a zrx1200s fairing and made my own exhayust mounting(£5 end can from evilbay and a £24 bit for a mini)

Cheers
Ray

Welcome Ray !
Lived in Stourbridge before escaping up here to Cumbria. Still have a couple of friends living there who we occasionally visit.
I hope you are pleased with your Burger, that's what I wanted but probably be my next when I've got used to the maxi concept.
