Hi all..

I am Steve from Epsom and I have my CBT tomorrow and then off shopping for a scoot for the rest of the week...but I really need some advice on what scoot will suit my needs...it will be mainly used to commute to work...Epsom to New Malden appx 20 mile round trip..and also a bit further afield for leisurely rides every now and then...then main road near me is the a3..so ideally I am looking for a decent scoot..may need to be a bit bigger as I am 6ft 1, and 15st..any suggestions?

Thanks
Steve

Welcome

I think the first thing is to decide on your priorities, do you want sporty, practical, weather protection or cheap?

Good points...not too sure really..I guess image has to play a part...I am a big bloke and sitting on something small or a hair dryer may ruin my street cred. I have a budget of around 2k, looking to get 1year or more out of it..

In my opinion the best made 125 is also probably also of (if not the) biggest and that is the Honda S-Wing.
Bullet proof reliability and comfy with plenty of street presence.

The scoots I have my eye on in preffered choice are
1. Yamaha x Max
2. Honda pcx
3. Burgman
4. Honda s wing

Anyone got any feedback on these scoots?

Street cred? Then the Xmax or the PCX, I'd lean towards the XMax though

X Max is my preferred choice..just may be out side my budget tho...
