Hello all, hope someone can advise on this.. I own a 2004 suzuki burgman 400 and 2011 Yamaha Vity 125 and am looking to buy a disc lock alarm that is compatible with both bikes. I've been looking at a XENA XX14 - could anyone advise if this would fit both bikes and if it is reliable. I'm open to other makes of disc lock alarm that will do both bikes so any recommendations would be very appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
Cheers
Tony

Re: disc lock alarm
I had a disc alarm and never really liked it as sometimes it went off with no one touching it.

Re: disc lock alarm
i use an oxford screamer disk lock with alarm and fits all disk rotors through any one of the holes, the alarm was not too sensitive and never went off by mistake, but the batteries are 4 x button cell and last around 3 months so after 1 year of use i just did not replace, so just use it as a disk lock now ... they around £25 delivered and come with 3 keys, i use the yellow reminder strap to handlebar when in use so i dont forget... i use it in conjunction with 3 chains when parked at home, and one chain when about, handy to have and a good buy and dont get accidentally activated by wind etc highly recommended

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Re: disc lock alarm
I have 2 Xena Alarmed Disc locks... Think i have only used the 4 times when I know I am parking in a risky place... other than that in the 5 years I have had them they annoyed me so much in the first 2 days I took out the batterys, then after a week I got fed up with putting them on and taking them off. So now I just park up the scoot because if someone wants to steal it I'd rather it go in once piece and hopefully be recovered in one piece. If I never see it again that is what insurance is for and that is why I pay a premium that I am happy with.
