Is there a National Muppets meet?

Do you have such a thing as a national Maxi Muppets meet in the summer time (or any time for that matter)?

Muppets tend to be spread too far afield, I'm afraid!
There was an annual meet at Rutland Water for a few years and we did have a North South meet up once. Or was it twice? I only went to one anyway.
The last few years it has tended to be regionalised meet ups with various offshoots of the Muppets.
Namely , Northern Riders in the Yorkshire area, Ugly Bunch in the Midlands/Greater manchester and beyond.
The Southern jellied eel/pie and mash eaters do regular meets in London and the South East.

To their credit, a number of southern/ east anglian people have "crossed the divide" and travelled miles for meets in Buxton and Matlock Bath and trips to North Wales.. But unless you have an overnight stop it can make it a gruelling trek!
Not many of us north of Birmingham have returned the favour though.
Saying that, we do pass through the southern counties on our trip to Belgium :D

Keep your eye on the meets section. Or if you fancy organising a ride in the Gloucester area, I'd definitely turn up!
Maxi-touring people used to have a Forest of Dean run. Not sure if that's still going.

Brilliant idea in theory but would take some organising? A central location, over a weekend would give everyone a reasonable opportunity to make it. Need to think positive! If the trads can travel to their rallies then surely we can do the same?
As long as there is plenty of accommodation, food, drink and entertainment available I'm sure most muppets could be tempted!

Most wont stay overnight so say its too far to do in a day thats problem you have .I personally think have a northern one and a southern one different times .One south of M4 for southerners and for those who will travel and one around Skipton ish for Northerners or southerners who will travel .Thats my opinion
