Really daft question
What bikes out there have a similar auto gear set up as the Mana, I know the Honda has but which others, I mean bikes not maxi's.

Thanks Meldrew you've been quite helpful.
I think an FJR is going to be my next goal.Meldrew wrote:If you want to ride motorcycles on an Auto Licence you're limited to the four DCT Hondas, Yamaha FJR 1300S, and the Mana. You may even find a 1970’s Honda CB400A Auto or Moto Guzzi V1000 Convert gathering dust somewhere.

Re: Really daft question
Does it have to be fully auto or an auto clutch? How about a Yamaha FJR1300 AS?
I've just bought a manual one but they do a clutchless one - you still have to change gears but there's no clutch. Don't know if that's any good to you.

I really would love a fjr1300 AS. But not where I live. But I do love the Mana.

Re: Really daft question
Honda DN-01 if it floats your boat. I also owned a mana, did 30000 miles on mine. Other dct bikes such as vfr1200 and crosstourer. Other than that not much more in the traditional motorbike guise.

Re: Really daft question
I've had mine just three days so far and it is awesome. Just a tad more oomph than my Burgman.Earl wrote:.......I think an FJR is going to be my next goal.

Re: Really daft question
Out of all the ones mentioned other than the Mana I think I like the look of the FJR the best.Steve_D wrote:I've had mine just three days so far and it is awesome. Just a tad more oomph than my Burgman.Earl wrote:.......I think an FJR is going to be my next goal.

Re: Really daft question
Something wrong with that bike perhaps or just overpriced for the miles it has covered. Look at the revisions to that advert and you will see that they have had it up for sale since August last year!StevenM wrote:me too

Also, rather strange that a Yamaha dealer is advertising a well known 5 speed bike as a 6 speed!
