When's your J300 due Michael? Must be soon? Perhaps the kawasaki Winners Weekend will take up Kawasaki's time and delay your delivery :D

no it wont, awaiting a givi monolock blade top box ,givi rack and backrest and givi screen, all are in stock and being sent to dealer except the new version of the blade top box which givi said about 10th april, the dealer has already spoken to kawasaki as the scoot i am buying was there pre/ordered one, the abs version and is expected thursday the 3rd or 10th april, so really it will all come together around same time, picked my number plate, the first new bike i owned ( and never had new again  )was in 1977 and being from huddersfield it had the VH in the number plate, and managed to get GF14 DVH for the scoot so happy their... i have been familiarising myself with the dealer workshop manual, so realistically i will have two services from dealer in the 2 year warranty period, the first at one month and the next at 3000 miles or one year, then the next is due at end of second year, but warranty will be out so will do that one myself :D
found out where everything is on the scoot, and the diagnostic codes etc and how to reset etc, just to pick up on, one good point i found in the workshop manual which was not in the owners manual was that the lights dont come on when you turn the key to on, they only come on when you have released the starter button once started, this is a good point as you can reset anything ( clock, trip meters codes etc) or take your time, as it wont be drawing power from battery (which is a sealed version so better, no acid leaks) to the front two headlights so learn something there to pass on :D
also the workshop manual is 470 pages :D shows detailed views of the scoot stripped and where every cable goes and what they are for, glad i got a tin of acf50 waiting i thought the nexus had loads but WOW i gonna go everywhere with it
