First Impressions.

Today was the first opportunity to get out on the new 650 Burgman. I was out for over five hours and did just over 200 miles. First up, comfort. No aches, no pains, no cramps excellent. Before getting the Burgman I was beginning to struggle with the Bonneville and was getting uncomfortable in less than an hour so this is very pleasing. By the end of the afternoon I was beginning to explore the handling a little. Really impressed with the stability and "planted" feel. Gave it a good shake at er! speed and it was unfazed. The 400 handled well but if you tried a bit in a sweeper then the rear could begin to get a little unruly, not so the 650, rock solid. The engine is super smooth both in its general running and delivery. Brakes strong and with lots of feedback. First impressions, the most relaxing, sophisticated twowheeler I have had the pleasure of. Will comment further when I get a few thousand miles on.
