I came across this thread on another forum and thought it would be good to share here. With the good weather more people are riding and we all need to beware. I have to say I have got into the habit of telling drivers to get off their phones no doubt i will get a smack in the nose one day

Smack in the nose? Good argument for a full face helmet... watched a very stupid Boy Racer in one of those lowered, loud pipe, tinted windowed Renaults punch a biker in the head at Box Hill a few years ago.

Obviously he broke his hand. Then the biker headbutted him and spread his nose all over his face. It was a right mess, but fortunately a few tissues and the helmet cleaned right up without a scratch...

Well your honour, I thought the three of them were trying to steal my bike so I took the chain lock out of the glovebox to secure the machine but unfortunately.........
