This can happen on these "so called spirited rides" trying to doing catch up not wanting to be left behind or hold any one up and should be a warning to anyone leading a ride out IMHO.

.....and then there's the prats like this who, after riding recklessly, gets away with it.

I'm not the worlds greatest rider but that guy on the Cat and Fiddle really was crap.
