Bought a new toy
After reading so many reports i have weakened and bought a S/H mk3 with 6000miles on the clock.
Sight unseen so i must have flipped.
Never ridden one but they sure look sexy.
I hope its good cause my yp400 is one hell of a good machine.
The clincher was that it has A.B.S brakes.
Do any other muppets have A.B.S on a mark 3 ?
Pick it up next week 700km trip to retreive

Well done that man! I'm sure it'll be a whole dimension better than the YP400 - more power for the same weight, and a much more sophisticated chassis and suspension. I found the standard screen to be abysmal, but for me the addition of a Laminar Lip cured the problem entirely.
TMaxs with ABS are as rare as hen's teeth in the UK

Oh no Maxiscoot, does this mean another Majesty rider abandons the fold or are you keeping it for posterity? I like the look of the Tmaxes myself but they are £9k ish in the UK without ABS.

No way should you pay 9k for a t-max, Yamaha Wigan do the mk4 for 8k
and the mk3 for £6.700

Seen the pics nice with abs on it. Quick machines especially when the R1 can goes on. Factory peformance pipe got to be good.

Yeah mate i have to check a few things out but on paper it adds up.
Worked superbly on the 400 as you know .Would work on 250 also and 500 well there 2 of them on the R1 and thats 1000cc so half of that = the perfect cc for tmax.
What i like about the R1 can is that it is so light being Titanium about 3kgs if you are lucky. The 400 factory exhaust weighs a ton so i think soto will that thing hanging on the T max

Maxiscoot NZ:
Congrats, you have imbibed the Tmax Koolaid! It took a RIDE on a Tmax to get me to move on from my Majesty. You NOW say it's the ABS; wait until you ride it...you'll be AMAZED at the difference!
What year did you get, and, most importantly, what COLOR?
