Hi all!

I bought a used Piaggio XEvo 400cc, my first maxi scooter, just last week, and decided to register here to read more about the bike; the mods, mpgs, service intervals, tyre choices etc.
So far I've been extremely happy with the bike; I just love the how easy it is to ride, the mpg is nice, acecleration is decent, and the looks aren't bad either.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

Where's its Beak (body mounted front mudguard)?

Hi jub3 and welcome. I think the bike looks better without the beak. icon_wink-.gif Wales.gif

Now that you mention it, I have absolutely no idea :D I didn't actually pay attention to it until now. I guess I was way too excited about the bike when I was buying it, so I didn't pay attention to such small detail (a huge missing part).

I don't know if one of the previous owners has removed the original mudguard, but the bike is otherwise in such a good condition, so I don't think it has been crashed or anything. It does have a smaller mudguard attached though, but it's barely noticeable in the photo as it's really close to the front tyre. ..anyhow, I don't think it looks too bad without it.

I'm really glad I found this forum. What better way to spend one's maxi-honeymoon than read about stuff by other fellow maxi owners!
