Looks like Suzuki have now Introduced the 'standard' 400 with ABS alongside the limited edition 400Z ABS. As usual price has risen.
They have also re introduced the 125 with a similar 650 front indicator look. Wonder why the 400 was not similarly facelifted?
Also a new Promotion of £750 from 1st May towards the 650.

The 400 is due for replacement very soon so I suspect a facelift is not on the cards. I was led to believe that a new 400 was being announced in October of this year but that could still be a bit premature. All the mags said 2013 for the six fiddy and 2014 for the 400. Lets see!

The 2014 Suzuki Burgman 125 in my local dealership. £3500 and no ABS.
Riding a Suzuki Burgman 650 L1 and a Piaggio Fly 125 3v

If that 125 was a 200 and had ABS for £3500 it would be a nice little scooter....

Looks like they have dropped the 200 then. Not surprising. 200 is a bit of an odd size, and with 300s costing just a bit more...
Getting a little impatient to see what the new 400 is going to be like. Will they stick with the single cylinder or will they go for a twin like the 650? Will the styling match the 650 more? We will have to wait and see.

Pity they dropped the 200, leaves a too big a gap between the 125 and 400 in Suzukis UK scooter line-up imo.
Last year if there was a Burgman 200 with ABS in white for circa four grand available in the UK I probably would have bought one instead of the Forza.
Will Suzuki stick with the large body/tourer idea or go for the lean angular sporty idea for the new 400...?

Well it is old but actually, I think it's still a fresh design and it
more than matches the competition for performance, handling and economy. Great fun to ride and with a really well proven reliability record for covering huge mileages without issues. That's why there is a premium on price. It is a good quality machine overall. But it's like everything. We don't all like the same things.

I've just seen the new 125 Burgman in my local dealers.
What a lard arse!
It seems like the bike following the UK fashion for wobbling down the high st.
I hope the up coming 400 is not going down the same route.

ALL the competition has moved-on from the old TOURER design.

SYM MaxSym400i, KYMCO Xciting400i, Yamaha Xmax400, Piaggio X350 and I guess the new Peugeot 400 are ALL sportier, lighter and have bigger wheels (except for the X350 and Xmax rears...).
The only OTHER antique 400 design was the Majesty 400, discontinued by Yamaha.
Time marches on! (Except for in Suzukiland...)
