Its already happened
I can think of two but there are probably more
Ducati Brio
(100 cc I think?)
Ducati cruiser
175cc, first italian auto scooter ? Ghia bodywork

Nothing from Audi, but both mini (BMW) and smart (Mercedes) exhibited concept scooters a couple of years ago. Nothing heard since though.
So to answer the OP question: No.

I think they will in time with special edition models relating to there moto gp efforts ,but i think it will be a rebadged something or other .

that Ducati panaigale is quiet something does not even have a frame, quite an amazing feat of engineering, doing better in the WSB superbikes tho

There again...Ducati are focussed on sportsbikes, and no-one buys sportsbike anymore, so what are they going to do? They have produced a few more touring-ish things like the Hyperstrada, so maybe some sort of sporty scooter thing might add to their appeal. Pretty niche thing though.
