Whilst I can see your point. Maybe one has to grasp the nettle and sort somat out oneself? Personally I quite like solo rides to meet up somewhere for a chat and a brew. If youre up for it, I`m meeting a pal at Hawes on Wednesday morning at 10.00,we`l av a brew then probably ride out to north lakes , tootle about for a while then go our separate ways back home, forecast looks ok. Theres 3 in Stourbridge we have never met although Monty has been on a ride I went on so saw him on a nexus with his helmet on .

I've been to about 4 meets this year and been unable to go to 4 others so there are meets to go to.
One Sunday a few weeks ago, there was even a clash with some doing Whitby and others Cannock
I do think though, there seems to be more in the midlands and the north.

The title heading may say 'Ugly Bunch' or 'Northern Riders' but pretty people from down South will be made very welcome.
Road runner is a regular traveller to the grim north. 4 hrs from Towie land is nothing to him!

I did sort of arrange one to go to Whitby via Helmsley but waited there for nearly an hour ( 40 minutes after suggested time) and gave up!

I also suggested a Tour de France meet and Durham Bike Safe meet
