Any one going to this?
Starts at the Ace Cafe at 10:30, then head down A406, A13, M25, A2, M2. A229... not good for non full license riders but the are alternate routes.

I know... nice for riders who can't go round corners, but having said that they do mob down there apparently so its safer to ride on bigger straighter roads.

You could stop at Nells cafe, Gravesend East for a cuppa, then Cobham, Cuxton, Maidstone Services M2, Hollingbourne, Charing, Challock, Chilham, Canterbury (all on the M20), A2 to Bridge, past Howlets Zoo, A257 to Sandwich, Broadstairs and Margate.
Very good roads and probably as quick,
But, this weekend I'm booked in for a Lazy weekend in a hotel in Essex.
I don't mind doing this route as a ride out, as it opens up a good biking route to the Isle of Thanet, Broadstairs is a nice sea side resort.

I'm at The Mill in Sudbury, it's a stay over on Sunday night. It costs £99 for the room but you get £40 back towards the evening meal. We are meeting a couple of other couples that are also going with us on the coach trip to Deauville and Monets garden trip in a few days time. I've stayed there before, they have a dead cat in the floor, probably an Essex custom at the time.

You don't have to pay to cross the tunnel or the bridge at dartford...
