Everywhere else? Not so much. Eight months ago a heads-up was posted on the US Forum, with links to the Italian Forum and how BMW was fixing the problem. It allowed one owner to leverage BMW into a new bike, and another into a proactive repair which the dealer initially claimed wasn't needed.
Now recalls have been issued for the defective tensioners in Canada and Germany.
