Hi Chris.. well to be honest its going to be check everything you can think of visually.. also belt needs a looking at maybe... if its been mot`ed just before you got it , this will be an indication of the general stuff, like brakes and steering, so if that all good then its were you want to start, to do first, post what you intend to do and if you need advise on that job .. cheers lad and be careful

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Re: a newby!
Welcome Chris.
Another Tmax rider,, great stuff!
As MichaelP says,, try n do the basics yourself, then ask on here.
Listen for any strange noises or get someone to have a listen. Tmax like all machines need to be used and get the oil swirling.
there can be problems with cam chain tensioners when they aren't used much.
Have a look here for a start,, an old post.

Hi Chris and welcome.
I would certainly check all rubber including tyres and all hoses especially brake hoses for signs of perishing and replace as required.
Good luck and enjoy your T-Max.
