I had my honda lead stolen :(

Picking up a cheap slight fix-up peugeot satelis on friday,
it needs a new battery and breakpads first, does anyone have a good recommendation because I don't wanna buy the wrong stuff.

Gonna have to get a thumb sized hole on the exhaust welded up too.

Then see what other problems come out of the er... metalwork.

Sorry to hear about your loss. :o :(

Parts should be easy to pick up cheap off ebay. I would look for you but work has blocked ebay on work computers

I'm sure someone will help before I manage to get home later.

Good luck with new bike :D :D

I had two Elystars. Really nice mid size scooter. I hope you have a good experience with yours.

EDIT: what a twit. Work has been mad lately, so mis-read Satelis as Elystar. Not quite sure how.

But I had 3 Satelis too. The 250 variety, sadly.

Anyway, back to business...

sorry to hear bethie, depends on what year for pads, is it the premium model or the rs etc some links below

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-125CC ... 4179b1a08f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; £9.99

your battery... when you get the scoot, have a look at the one in there just to check the label it should be B14L-A2 or CB14L-A2 if so then this is a good replacement battery £30 delivered for a Lucas battery
dont forget
These Lucas conventional lead/acid batteries are delivered 70% dry charged. After filling with the supplied battery acid we recommend that you fully charge the battery before installation.

Only takes a few mins to fill and very easy to do. Each battery comes with full instructions.

good luck lass :D

I forgot to say. If you go to the official 3X parts website and navigate to the Peugeot section, you can enter the reg plate and you'll get schematics with all the official part numbers and prices. Check the price of the official products before you go to eBay as the latter is not always cheaper.

Cheers for all the information so far.
The scooter is 125cc Satelis Premium (apparently)

Saying he can't find the failed MOT (fail because of the welding need) so I'm going to give it a proper look over tomorrow and see what happens. I don't mind a mini project and willing to spend about 250 on repairs for such a bargain with good bodywork!

Sounds fine, starts fine, rides fine (private land test)

Probably need a new exhaust, can anyone link me one that fits the satelis 2006 premium model?

I doubt it. The Satelis is a nice scooter.

If no joy searching for an exhaust, try http://www.ebay.fr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; There are millions of 'em in France and many sellers will ship stuff to you in the UK. Brand new the exhausts cost a fortune but there should be plenty available 2nd hand.

Non in France on my search only Italian for some reason.
Would a different make fit the scooter? I'd ask my local garage but theres only one motorbike place and he kinda rips you off on parts but his labour cost is fine.
