Saw an incident on the M60 yesterday where a Givi Maxia top box had come off a bike. Fortunately the box seems to have bounced and rolled left ending up on the embankment just off the hard shoulder, rather than into the path of following vehicles. Bike stopped about 100 metres further on. No one hurt, thankfully, on bike or in following traffic, but the small female pillion looked very distressed - she may well have been leaning against it when it suddenly came away.

The box was still attached to the its Givi mounting plate. Worth taking a few moments to check the fitting every now and then.

She was very lucky, she was in a sidecar when they first set off

Must have been a scary experience for her.
