Re: friend is after new forza
Having previously owned two SH300i and a 400 burgman IMO the Forza which I purchased a few weeks ago is a better tool. Although its not as quick off the mark as the other two, the Forza beats the SH300 on comfort, storage and weather protection (with an aftermarket screen). The burgman had better storage, was just as comfy as the Forza and quicker but it was a little heavier to move around. Handling wise, I would say that the SH300 was best followed by the Forza then the Burgman. Fuel consumption I would say not much in it between all three with figures in the mid seventies.
I have just put 1400 mies on my Forza in a little over three weeks (115 miles a day commute on A, B & motorways) and I really cannot fault the machine. Only accessories I have added are a Givi Airflow screen and a rack to take my top box.
I am well pleased with my purchase and would definately recommend one, after a test ride, naturally.

Only con is that people with long legs find the legroom insufficient.
Apart from that its the mutts nuts.

Not really.
Most Forzas I see on the road still have the standard screen.
Should anybody feel the need for one, they can be had for under £70 and fitted in minutes.

Re: friend is after new forza
I have a 33" inside leg and find the seating position just about acceptable. That said, I did try using the the scooter with the "hump" removed which did give another couple of inches legroom albeit with part of the seat harder where the hump was fitted. I did try to pad the area out but in the end I decided to stick with the original set up.gn2 wrote:Only con is that people with long legs find the legroom insufficient.

The hump padding can be trimmed down and the cover stapled back in place.

It seems like every scoot these days has a poor oem screen, maybe the manufacturers test ride with midgets....MrGrumpy wrote:...and most people need a better screen.gn2 wrote:Only con is that people with long legs find the legroom insufficient.
