Hi All
Just yakking with a colleague about my SH300 and he asked me how often I changed the belt. I said I stuck a new one on it... and then it dawned on me, that was 14k miles ago! I've got a manual on the home PC and will get the minimum thickness and MIC it up and inspect it etc. Just wondered if anyone knows roughly how long they last?
Thanks.

I was told 12,500 by the dealer - and fit new rollers too.

Forza is 16000 miles, so you should be ok for a couple of thousand miles yet.

Thanks Chaps. I'll get a belt ordered up ready and see if it holds out to the net oil change. I'll check it at the weekend in case its on the point of snapping though...

Just looked up the part numbers
Forza: 23100-K04-931
SH300: 23100-KTW-901
From what I understand of Honda part numbers, these may be interchangeable?

Not completely the same, the Forza has an offset crank.

One thing I found when I bought mine a couple of years ago was that a pattern belt on eBay was £99 at the time. Thought I'd see how much a genuine Honda one was from Johns of Romford. Just £70!!!!! Worth looking into. icon_thumbs_up.gif
