Lidl thermometer/clock

Was in Lidl today and they had clock thermometer gadgets in, price a very reasonable £3.50.
They have an ice alarm function.
Might be useful?

I saw that too but didn't know whether it was waterproof or not. worrying to see 40 degrees there though! I hope you didn't have your bike gear on you

Sticky velcro it to the bodywork and store it in glovebox if it rains
I hadn't immediately thought about waterproofing as rain is so infrequent here, I usually only get properly rained on a handful of times a year.

I thought it only rained twice in Scotland? October to May, and June to September?

i miss the cool yorkshire air to be honest and the soft water and riding in the snow... the good old days

Depends where you live.
Parts of Aberdeenshire have similar rainfall to parts of Morocco.
