Is this possible ?

Post by SOLO »

Hello

I was just doing some random look about on Google at Burgman 650s getting ready for my test next week on a burgman 650, Google brought up loads of videos on handling a burgman and riding tips, one video it bought up was this :

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A burgman 650 doing a wheelie, thing is why i though i would post this is i was wondering if it was fake because i always assumed that a large maxi-scooter cant be wheelies ?

There's plenty of video's of TMax's pulling wheelies, just requires a little tuning, would not surprise me if others could.

HAHA no i wont be trying this on my test lol, but i always assumed that the geared big bikes are the ones that can wheelie, i just always thought big maxis can wheelie due to the design

Blimey, the 650 is a bit of a lump to take your test on. Good luck!
Ps. Give it a bit of throttle and plenty of rear brake when doing your 'U' turn.
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

If you use manual mode 1st gear accelerates very fast, so he is prob using that in the vid, and almost any bike can wheelie, not just big ones :) I remember when i was 16 and first learning i twisted the throttle the wrong way by mistake and my FS1E did one

***They are so badly balanced***

You must be thinking of some other bike as the 650 Burgman is one of the best balanced scoots on the road bar none EVEN that one you ride.... :lol: :kiss:

He rides up a ramp to get the front wheel up so I would not class it as a wheelie; more a recovery! ;)
