Apparently BMW hope to let owners actually ride their expensive RTs again quite soon...
I've never ridden any BMW apart from the C600, but I'm told that the R models were an acquired taste

I be been lucky enough to ride a vast quantity of bikes and BMW,s being one of them .The boxer engine in different guises does differ a lot . One that stood out for me was the r1200st back in 07 it was very smooth ,in fact it felt too linear for my taste and did not vibrate that much IMHO ,yet I rode a gs at the same time which did vibrate a lot . I did I fact buy a buell uylsees instead ,yes it vibrated but what a bike with fantastic feedback and handling and masses of torque . I really did enjoy the St though .
