Hi there.
My name is Mike and I just picked up my shiny (it's not shiny, it's matt!) new Sym Maxsym 600i today. Haven't ridden any bike for 5 years so was a little rusty, but it feels great.
Anyway, just saying hello and getting the 600 rider count up by another one!
Cheers,
Mike.

Hi all
Thanks for welcomes!
smeghead, I'm in Northern Ireland - so spaceprobe can still keep feeling exclusive!
It was actually spaceprobe's review that helped give me that final nudge towards the 600i. Apart from a French review, and a few youtube videos, there wasn't much else to go on.
Loved the matt colour though, looked like a vehicle out of a Batman movie to me! (the last few with Bale, not the earlier movies!).
I had originally been looking at the Beverly 350 but my dealer mentioned Sym and I'd never heard of them, and after googling for a bit, decided I really liked the 600i.
I'll not be doing a review, I'd be rubbish at that! And it's been 5 odd years since I've been on a bike. Although, as a reference, it feels about the same size as the Majesty I used to have (sym would be a bit taller), and it would definitely be snappier than the majesty (but then it was a 400 or 450, not sure now). But take this with a pinch of salt, I'm going from a mountain bike to the sym, so my comparisons are way off!
And it looks great from the front, with the LEDs, watched it coming towards me when dealer was bringing it back from petrol station. Just looks great.
Great site btw!
Cheers,
Mike.

Hi Mike and welcome, it seems the Sym 600 is credible competition for the big 3 or four if you include the BMW. Enjoy your ride.
Shad find another dealer. You can expect some vibration from a single but not so much that it is unridable. Insist on a check by a Yamaha representative.
