It had to happen sooner or later. Having owned many Honda motorcycles / scooters over the years my Forza failed to start this morning, this being the fist time I have ever been let down by the marque.
Although its only a few months old it as covered 5500 miles in commuting service. I have checked all the obvious things such as battery, fuses, fuel in tank, sidestand switch, plug / cap, and kill switch, to no avail. The motor spins over but won't fire up which leads me to believe its fuel related, possibly the pump.
Looks like I will be calling the AA inthe next few days to collect it and return to dealer for inspection.

fuel pump failure is a common fault with the forza, first being noticed back in July . Id call your honda dealer Roger get them to pick it up and replace the fuel pump.

Thanks for the link Mark, very interesting. As previously mentioned, I will be arranging for the AA to collect in the next few days.
By the way, I like your new toy which I trust does not cause you problems with your knees.

As a fellow Forza owner I'll pop into my local dealer over the next few days and see what their take on this is, I've already suffered the coolant / oil seal failure which kept the bike off the road for a few weeks while they tried to get the parts......

Update - Would you believe it. Went out this morning just to try starting it before calling AA and it fired up on the button!
Tried it several times and it started each time. I find this very strange, as after carrying our various checks the other evening, it failed to start after each check that I carried out. The only thing that I can think of is that the side stand switch might have been the problem. I did check this and gave it a generous squirt of penetrating / releasing lubricant, which may have taken its time to work.

I will be taking it into the dealer on Friday to ask them to give it the once over for peace of mind seeing as it covers in excess of 100 miles most days.

Somethimg springs to mind...
When i have been checking lights / bulbs - or trying to get the oil change indicator to turn off... with several on/off/on of the ignition - and fuel pump action constantly priming the fuel system... the scoot is hard to start / fire up - turns over but won't catch - flooded?... have to twist open the throttle to get it to catch... like pumping the throtle on an old carbed / chocked car - eventually it will catch and chug slowly / reluctantly - then gradually tick over as normal.

One problem with modern fuel injection and the many sensors supplying information to the ECU, if the engine does not catch first time, it can over fuel the cylinder and be a problem to start.You can keep on trying but they appear completely dead.
I've had troubles after servicing bikes, you can crank them over and they won't start. I tend to give them some time to purge themselves before retrying.
Next time go for a walk to the park and pick up a big stick, threaten to give it a good thrashing Basil Fawlty style, but take your time.

Once restarted, all is well again.

On some bikes the ECU doesn't like being shut off with the kill switch - but I can't recall which one it was.

Also don't forget the sidestand and kill switch - classic reasons for a no start

My PCX had both problems. Once it wouldn't start but finally figured after a while that the side stand switch was stuck and flipping it up and down a couple of times sorted it. Another time i was just faffing about getting stuff in and out from under the seat, each time i accidentally turned the power on without starting and i think i flooded it. A couple of times i found it took some throttle to start it for no apparent reason?
