Dear God,
Please send clothes for all those poor ladies

No from me, I've not been on a bike/scooter since some car driver tried running the lights behind me on a duel carriageway.
I was slowing to stop at a pedestrian crossing in the outside lane, did a mirror check, saw the idiot was not going to stop behind me, so I pulled over, the pedestrian stopped walking across so did not get hit, I chased down the car when the lights changed, had a word with the driver, he said 'he was not going to brake hard for that thing'. I feel like giving up, too many idiots driving these days.

I know how you feel Dave but don't let the idiots get to you!

Glad to hear you were alert and aware so as to avoid the tosser, good reminder to not just focus ahead.

Chin up, don't let the idiots out there stop your pleasure and freedom, at least you can be selective about when & where to ride to help minimise the risks, but being fully aware (as you were) is key.

Let's stick together, group rides are a good option, safety in numbers. Glad I don't need to commute at the moment, I love homeworking!!!

Stay in lane 1 Dave and keep weaving ;) ;) I must admit drivers seem more aggressive in the south after saying that drivers in Inverness take great offence at you filtering maybe just not used to it I don't know.

Martyn, I was not that bothered with the blokes driving, although the pedestrian looked shaken up, it was his attitude and the fact I still have not lost my aggressive streak, at my age I would come off worse if he retaliated, probably having a heart attack or some sort of seizure. I got done years ago for dangerous driving, which was when I took the law into my own hands and tried to force a car off the road, the driver did not stop after knocking my friend off his BSA 650.
Thanks for the tip Julian, I will be in lane 1 when I start using the Townmate, it is more calming riding a step through.
