Hi from Crete... Well UK tomorrow.

Post by Rick448 »

Hi,

I am currently on holiday in Crete and it has got me thinking of buying a T Max 530 for my commute when I change jobs next year. It will be a 30 mile round trip and include crossing the Humber Bridge (free for bikes) I currently have a company car but this will be going back and be replaced with a new M3. I don't want to use this daily, or either my Honda Blackbird or GSXR750... So the T Max looks like a good solution and fun to boot.

I guess my main thing is are these reliable as I'll probably want to get about 60k miles out of it by the time it is scrapped, is this sort of mileage feasible if we'll maintained?

Thanks all :)

It'll be more reliable than the M3.

 maybe so, but the warranty can sort any issues out. It's early days for the F80 model so time will tell.

So long as its well maintained and you don't bin it then I don't see why you would not get 60k out of it.

Hi and welcome aboard.
Seeing you have a BMW the T-max has indicators on it, so you need to remember how to use them. :D

I don't get the BMW until July next year, but I have been practising using the ones fitted to my current car. Strangely they come as standard on the M3 but a decent stereo doesn't... They've got their priorities wrong somewhere ;)

Hello and welcome , you will love the t-max and as with anything if serviced it will look after you and with regards to if it will do 60k i cant see that being an issue at all .There are a lot of high milage maxis about some with over a 100k on them .
