Hello from Cornwall
Hi there. I'm currently riding a G650GS BMW but am looking to swap for, I think, a T-Max or just possibly a Silverwing. I'm 70, have been riding since 1960, and have thoroughly enjoyed every type of motorised bike, from a Mobylette to a ZRX1200. This swap could well be my last bike and so I want to make a good choice. I don't want a gurt heavy beast to maul around but as I'm over six feet and nearly fourteen stone I can't have a tiddler. Cornwall's truly God's own country but it doesn't give you many opportunities for trying out scooters. I'm after something around the £4k mark. I like internet forums and am on several - you lot were recommended by the BMW Club Forum so you must be good! I promise to behave myself whenever anyone's looking.

Hi and welcome, I can vouch for the Tmax, a great bit of kit.

Re: Hello from Cornwall
Hi Rick - I bought a Joyride two years ago but never got to like it. Absolutely nothing wrong with the bike, it's a lot of fun, but I just didn't fit it! Even went to the trouble of getting the seat built up a couple of inches - that did make a small difference - but half an hour's riding gave me leg cramps and brought on my arthritis in my shoulders. Just too small for me really. I've never had an MZ but I do like the look of them.
