Hello, new to maxi-muppets not to bikes or scooters, is that maxi's anyway were all bikers no matter I guess.. Previous scoots gillera runner 180, pig x-9 250 (loads of issues with it bought second hand was trash), sym joymax 300i and just picked up a gleaming x-max 400 which I use for the daily rat race to Central London.
Had lots of bikes for. Zr50 to ducattis and all in between, Main passion is motorcycle rally racing and touring with lots of off road thrown in.
Saw some good posts when looking for the next scoot so thanks for the info and thought to would sign up.

Thanks for the welcomes!
XMax400Paul, how you finding it? tyres are still a bit new and still breaking the engine in but the handling seems a bit odd like the front end doesnt want to turn in, nice in town great balance but in a fast long turn boy did it go out wide! Probably just me been commuting on a blackbird for the last 18 months so need to re-adjust, certainly cant lean it over like the bird grounds out quickly.
Cracking machine though sounds good with the akra as well.

Yeah pretty good, but fair used to scoots... check the sig block... its fun down the lanes and often gets taken out rather than the CCM
For the dry spring/summer I put the rear suspension up a notch from std... but back to std for the greasy winter roads.
Check out some of my posts... I've fitted Dr Pulleys, Check the Top Hose on the Cylinder Head / Thermostat knuckle next time you have the seat tub out - mine popped off!
Enjoy Muppets!
