Got my south of France trip booked.

Post by Steve_D »

For the past 3 years weve been once a year to Europe - once to Nice, twice to lake Garda. Four of us on bikes, week long trip. Our other halfs fly out and meet us out there for a few days in the middle of the trip so not all good! Great roads but one major problem. We are loaded down with luggage - side cases, top box, rear seat bag, tank bag and slinging it around the mountain roads is...interesting to say the least. This year, new idea. We've rented a 4 bed villa with pool in the south of France - this one: http://www.homeaway.co.uk/p673159a

Plan is, we leave on a Friday, get there on Saturday. Our other halfs also fly out on Saturday. We unload our gear and head to the mountains while they sunbathe each day. They fly home on Wednesday, we stay until Friday (or Saturday) and have the time of our fucking lives.

Sounds like a plan!

Sorry Steve - why ruin an interesting post with foul language? It's a real put-me-off.

Apologies. Edited. I've deleted 'wives' and changed it to 'other halfs'!

I like the sound of that. It'll be like when Top Gear did something similar. No messing about lads!
