Newbie who can't decide

Hi all!
I'm looking for a decent scooter to travel to work on when it's a nice day. I have a mixture of A roads, M-Ways and B Roads to deal with over 25 miles each way. I would also like to use it for a fun Sunday every now and again.
I have a full motorbike licence and my budget is around £2k so i have been looking at:
Gilera Runner 125ST (I use to have a 125sp back in 2002 and a Nexus 500 in 2005 and loved them!)
Honda FES 125
Yamaha YP250R X-Max
What would you recommend?

Did I hear a voice calling for help, have no fear I am here. It's got to be a Maxsym of course, the thinking man's choice

The 125's might struggle a bit on the motorways.

The Yamaha is the best out of your list - as Steve D says, the 125s will not do well on the motorway.

Suppose you are right about the 125's which is a shame but probably for the better.
The Yamaha, having never owned one are they easy to maintain? Will they last a fair few miles etc?
I have looked at the Burgman but i just don't like the look of it
