now ive bled a single pot brake before but how do you go about the strange combi brakes on the burgman
its a k1
anyone done this as im baffled

when you kneel down looking at the caliper straight on, and its a nissin as above, you can see the shape as a figure 8 on its side where one side is larger in the figure 8,
the smaller side where the logo nissin is has the smaller piston inside, which is activated when you pull the rear brake lever and has its own set of small brake pads, and its own brake bleed nipple above it which you IGNORE THAT NIPPLE, SO DONT BLEED WITH THAT
SO NOW YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE LARGER circle OF THE FIGURE 8 this is the larger piston internally for the front brake lever, and has its own set of small brake pads

and there is a bleed nipple where the top caliper bolt is,
thats the only bleed nipple which you will need to do use to bleed the front brake, so as before you mentioned you done a single pot brake, then treat this as the same, as the other nipple is for the combined rear brake
hope the above is understandable

, and im sure this info is correct as just fitted front pads to a 2001 burg , there very slow to suck from the top if adding fluid from there, so be patient, back bleeding from bleed nipple upwards is quicker with a syringe with tube on as you know no air is in the system, but from the master cylinder and pumping brake lever, the master cylinder piston will create bubbles so a slower method.. if you get to a point where you have a brake yet spongy, then tighten nipple and put master cylinder top on and then tape/wrap up the front brake lever as close/tight as you can to the throttle overnight, which should expel the air bubbles out into the air in the master cylinder.

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
