Got a new toy, then tick tock BOOM !

Haha. I thought I'd got away with buying meself a new ride for my birthday. So I bought an Atlantic 500 sprint, for sunny stress free days when I feel the urge to scoot, having had a 400 BurgerVan a few years ago, and loved it. Missus said nowt, so I've got away with this, hehheh, thought I.Got it right price too 'cos it weaves and feels twitchy, all else ok but rear tyre is worn, and steering head needs clean and grease. Usual suspects, no bother, no probs; off work this week so I'll do it. 2 days later, the turbo on my Smart car went POP going for a new tyre for the Ap. I use it everyday, the scoot is a sunny day toy. So, with the kind of luck I fall for, I may have to sell it to fix the Smart. trouble was, did I gloat too soon? Grrrr. Tentative enquiries if anyone wants to buy..... if I find a new turbo for sensible money, then wahay! I keep it and enjoy. So I may or may not be maxing this summer. And then again,,,maybe I will! Cheers folks.

Careful fixing the turbo, the repairs could cost more than the value of the car.
Get the scoot sorted and ditch the car.

welcome lad... dont know why they bother putting turbo`s on small cars same with EGR valves which i know for imissions but they cause nowt but hassle as nobody cleans them good luck
