test rode a silverwing 600
Had a test ride of a used silverwing with looking to purchase as I'm doing 170 miles a day at the moment and thought it would be better suited (i used to have one) and i have to say i was very disappointed ..although the bike is big its got less room than the bv and its slower accelerating and vibrates more ..it seem very dated (i know it is) ..i did mod the seat last time and put a better screen on as I'm too tall for standard but just wasn't worth the swap ..i think honda need a new one ...but still a good bike if you like sitting nearer the floor ..it brought back memories of aching legs lol

Hey Mr Fish - you need to try a T-Max! Mind you, if you found the Silverwing vibrated I reckon you must have struck a bad one. Mine was as smooth as a smoothie. I agree about the surprising lack of space for such a big bike though, but I did find mine comfy over 200-300 mile runs. I'm older and more arthritic these days but I don't blame that on the scoot!

I agree the Tmax could suit you better, I assume the Beverly is fixed.

Ive had a few silverwings, I know they are dated, but I think they are great, comfy (for me) with the right accessories can make them big mile munchers, the integra is the replacement but for me not up to the job( Ive had one of them too).

Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

I reckon you struck a bad ride as rjc1944 said, as it shouldn't be vibrating, and how fast of the line do you need are you ragging it at every green light or cruising your big commute, I imagine you will be fuelling up a lot on that commute speeding of at every green light, I'm 6ft 2 and no leg aching here then again I'm only 40
