Hi all,

Just a quick intro.

I am new to this forum, got myself a new Yamaha Xmax 125 about 2 weeks ago. Changing from a Yamaha R125.

Both amazing bikes, loved the R125, but changed due to my commute now being approx 80 miles a day and the Xmax 125 being far more comfy.

Happy Riding all :D

Welcome. Ride a 250 xmax myself and got to agree with the comfort factor. What mpg are you getting ?

@muddyfox: I am currently getting around 70 without going in the "empty zone". But from what I've heard from other, they should do close to 90 mpg if you drain it completely.

Aye up again stijn. Think things might be a little confused here. I was enquiring about your miles per gallon as opposed to your tank range. I currently get 85 miles per gallon commuting and as the fuel tank holds 2.9 gallon I'm going about 240 + miles between fill ups. Just hope your enjoying your scooter as much as I am enjoying mine.

I get 71 mpg at the moment. I am enjoying it very much, doing the first service on saturday myself. Love the storage and even my wife says that she enjoys sitting on the pillion seat much more than my previous bike.
