Sounds like a nice idea but friends of mine who are keen campers say Shell island camp site is a bit like a sink estate, its the only campsite they have ever stayed at where they had the tent burgled.

I would imagine it is in high season mainly in campervans so valuables can be locked away .Will be doing our own food and taking drinks so apart from showers won't be leaving camp pitch can do in relays if looks a bit iffy .

It was Oap discount in September that swung location for the weekend.
