Hello all. I was a member of the forum back in 2008/9 when I bought a new Satelis 500. I had to sell it in 2010 and have missed it ever since - I think it was probably the best bike I've ever owned.

I had an accident at work which unfortunately put paid to any thoughts of bikes (aside from the pedal-equipped ones for recovery purposes) for quite some time. However, I'm thinking of getting back in the saddle and I'm revisiting the maxi scooters as i really enjoyed the Satelis. I am currently bike-less but I am looking and hopefully will be sticking around for a while.

Back in the day I did post a write-up on my Satelis with some pics but I can't seem to find it - was there a clear-out of old, BS-laden posts at some point?
