greetings from the isle of wight
hi .just joined this forum, have recently bought a 250 majesty to join my fleet,a 1990 Suzuki gn250 with rickman fairing, panniers and top box,a 1966 velocette le ex police noddy bike ,a 1972 rickman zundapp 125 police model and a 1990 Honda cn250 helix.the two police bikes are used for showing and are fully equipped with radios etc, bought the helix last year mainly because I was fed up with chain drive and wanted some weather protection, brilliant scoot but the riding position and bars do my back in plus the pillion too small for the other half!safe in the knowledge she cant use computers I can say that part of the problem is she has got'bulkier'!been looking for a 400 majesty but few come up for sale over here but a very nice 1996 250 was bought for a reasonable price,a scoot we both find more comfortable and a tad faster than the helix so the helix iis up for sale.been riding since 1970 and lost count of how many bikes I have had! did have a 1959 lambretta 175 complete with an avon handlebar fairing in 1972,paid £ 15 for it!,gave it away eventualy for a friends nipper to ride in the woods!.ride most days as I use one of them to and from work and weekends we go out round the island and occasionally venture to England!recently went touring in devon and east cornwall on the Suzuki gn250,the original plan was to use the helix but we decided it just was comfortable enough for that sort of distance, the 'new' majesty will now take over the touring role!

Welcome have not been to the isle of Wight for about 52 years , keep meaning to take the mighty SYM over on a camping touring trip, perhaps next year. I am sure you will love this site just watch out for all those burger vans
