I've tried them all and the best result for me and for a couple of winters is headed gloves. Above 5 ° for some good Richa but below that I wear headed ones. You connect a cable either directly to the battery or you can use a connector to an existing battery charger lead. Make is Keiss

Go tucano urbano hand grip covers / small muffs...
Bar end or non bar end model... they are the nuts..
Summer gloves through most of the winter...
Mine just back on for the 6th winter...
Do a search and see the response!

Had bar muffs on my x9 and they were great, the same on both my 400 Burgers, complete waste on the 650 as they block the mirrors,i have a really good set of winter gloves, but do sometimes get the heated gloves out, which are well worth the dosh......

I invested in a Givi screen, which has shaped handguards built in. Never felt the need for heated gloves since, but the slipstream from the big screen pushes you in the back and gives a chill round the kidneys at speed!

Interesting - what Givi screen did you fit? Mine's an AF226 and not found that problem.

I fitted Vstrom ones to mine but you need to do a little bit of adapting. These will be replaced with Tucano Urbano muffs when it gets really cold though. The muffs and heated grips are jolly splendid.
I also fitted some LED lights to help blind motorists see me.
