Hello all, I'm a new member and a recent returner to 2 wheels. Last bike I owned was some 40 years ago but have now discovered the joys of automatic scooters. Proud owner of a 2006 - Piaggio X9 125. I live out in the sticks in the Scottish Borders area and hope to retire soon but don't want to run 2 cars, a Scooter seemed the perfect answer and I'm lovin' it.
Regards to all.

Hi Mev and welcome. I've had some great runs up in the Scottish Borders, St Marys Loch Keilder, Langholm etc etc. Kelso also has a great Scooter Rally in May each year.

You know what I mean though but Meldrew. I've also had some great runs out down your way-Scarborough, Whitby, Helmssley, Dales etc etc.
Where your based dictates where you can travel through/to/back/ in a day ride out.
