Hi,
I'm Rob. I'm going to look at a 1999 400cc Burgman on Saturday. Any advice? Looking to use it through the winter, so I can keep my Honda tucked up in the garage away from the salt and rain.

Check if rear brake binding they get neglected and expensive to rebuild caliper .

Personally I'd look at the FI models (from 2002 IIRC), earlier non-FI can be slightly difficult cold starting, mine improved by changing to k&N air filter and removing the internal snorkel in the airbox, clearly improved mixture or something else technical!
