Osram Nighbreaker bulb set

Post by adam_button »

Hey All,

Spent some time changing the bulb set from standard to Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited's.

For the sidelights I went with what others said on the Amazon page and bout the ones that look very blue in the package, but are actually very white (4200k) here's the items:

LORD ABOVE ITS A JOB! :( Surely, there has to be an easier way that either rotating your hand into the most awkward of positions or taking the whole front off! What a bad design.... Not looking forward to an indicator bulb going I tell you.

I have to say I think these are a nice compromise between changing for HIDs which given the lack of space uner the fairing and the H7/H4 combo is a lot of faff, and keeping the stock bulbs.

The throw is a lot better on dipped and is amazing on high - I did a white wall beam spread test on both and wow! :D

Looking forward to getting out in the night to see what they are really like.

Anyone else used them?

What's your thoughts....

Happy Friday, Adam

I've had them in now for about six months. The difference is staggering! Well pleased with the swap. It gets VERY dark in our Cornish lanes and these bulbs make me feel a lot safer.
