Hi, mxer_kk here. I love scooters, particularly hondas and have always wanted a maxi scoot. currently have a c90 for fun and a versys 650 for longer journeys.
Here to be educated about getting a budget maxi scoot.

Where are you based and are you "open-minded" if that isn't too familiar a question!!

In Kilkenny, Ireland. Bought my last bike in Reading. Fairly open minded once parts available.

Ah OK then, perhaps best to keep to mainstream brands, there's a fine Maxsym 400 on Fleabay around £2.5k from a dealer in East Anglia. Sym Citycom 300 is a decent big wheel option, though not that common, like the Kymco Downtown.
Suzuki Burgman 400 is always a decent bet, but quite low and some people prefer a taller ride, Piaggio X9 250 Evo is an alternative but useful if you've got some spannering skills. Kawasaki J300 well worth a look but may be pricey as newish model.
