Received a nice letter from DVSA (formerly DVLA) requesting a safety recall on my Suzuki address 110.
Apparently the headlamp bulb needs replacing as vibration can cause the filament to snap which in turn can touch the electric circuit causing the fuse to blow and in worst case cause engine to stall during normal running.
Theres a lot of if's there but obviously serious enough for a general recall so all booked into Alpha motorcycles for next Wednesday.
The warranty works free but as usual I've no doubt Ill walk out having bought something. New Xmax or Burgman perhaps

Hopefully you'll find out for yourself 28th
I haven't seen another yet either so guessing it's the smallest safety recall in history

Re: SUZUKI UK110NE ADDRESS RECALL
im guessing its this one ?
They looks okish more suited to be used as pizza delivery bikes then anything else, i would say go for the xmax or the burgman. Much better build quality and have a better performance set up than the address110.

Kishan the maxi would be as well as, Pizza delivery bike is perfect, but I dont do the fancy graphics I try not to stand out when touring or abandoning my bike/scoot in a city centre. I've also laid a Burgman down on byways and its a bar steward to pick up and cracks the fairing at the running board cornerkishan wrote:im guessing its this one ?

Re: SUZUKI UK110NE ADDRESS RECALL
because they are bigger in size so more storage space and more riding space , more responsive compared to the address 110. but fuel useage wise probably say they are even.Scootypuff snr wrote:Why????kishan wrote:better of getting the pcx125 or the forza than the address110
