I dont think you'll be dissappointed,i know you have a dodgey back, but as i said before centre of gravity is low so the wieght problem should be ok,they do look good in White, but i think White ones are getting tricky to get hold of at the moment.I took one of mine out today, recall check for the tappetts, new tyre and mot.

Had a loan MP3,not bad, only 250 miles on the clock, but i did miss the feet forward,so was glad to get back on the Burgman, really nice ride back from Wheels Peterborough, first time this year i've had the summer jacket on :D If you do take the plunge, the extended drvers backrest is a worth while investment, the ride on the MP 3 loan bike was uncomfortable for me,another good reason for getting the Burgman back.I got mine from Motorcyclelarry.com usa based, threebrothers do a slightly different version.

Apparently they have a Black one on the floor, a white one in a box and a second hand 2014 - no idea what colour that is. Like the white but that colour and I do not go together that well and it would end up with manky hand marks all over, pus I can be a little nonchalant with the cleaning.
On the other hand this will be the first bike with with that much Tupperware since the AR125B back in 1987. Since then they have not had much body work and being an all year rider who has now choice but to leave the bikes outside. (MZ250 x 2, Drag Star custom, XS750, Jawa 350, Fazer 600, Z750S, DL1000 and the XT1200z - not much plastic!)

Well, the deed is done, the deposit paid and I will be picking up the 650 in stealth black on the 9th of August as it seems everyone one is buying a bike at the moment and the garage monkeys are a tadge overworked! He had two defiant sales while I was there plus another that was just down to picking which one he liked the best. Just have to wait

Congratulations, looking forward to hearing your views as your biking history sounds a lot like mine especially the lack of soap & water bit

Thats good....did he take one of you other bikes in a px deal? Will you still keep the other machines in your fleet.Did you get a top box from the dealer or will you get it later, just a pointer,to fit the rack on the newer Burgers,i think the little panel behind the seat needs to be drilled, but with all them other machines you sound like a fettler anyway,so i guess you are competent :D
Look forward to your reviews.

Hopefully will be putting plenty of miles on it, with a trip to the Silverstone MotoGP and the French one next year. Aiming to do another Iron Butt next year then the year after that it's a little trip along the Pyrenees and up through the Alps to the Numbering.

Did it on the Vstrom with full luggage and kept a couple of sports bikes honest. I will take the Burg there. Has to be done but at a far more sedate pace ;)
