I'm planning a 120mile ride out from West Norfolk on Saturday 27th August in aid of East Anglia Air Ambulance called "Phil's Ride".

Phil was a popular man in my village who came along to a few of my support rides 5 years ago when I was planning my Fatblokeonamoped venture around Britain on 'L' plates. Sadly he was killed in a [non bike related] road accident last October and pronounced dead at the scene. His nephew who was with him at the time, was seriously injured in the same accident but was air lifted to Addenbrokes by the EAAA. Phil was just 50. His widow Jane, also a biker, was more than happy for me to arrange "Phil's Ride"

I'll be leading the ride on my Forza 125 and it's open to all. A 20mile bicycle ride is also being organised for the same day as well as a fun day during the day at the pub, my [really easy] quiz in the evening and the local village idiot will be having his legs, back and chest waxed too.

i couldn't face a 3 hour ride just to get to the meeting point ,
