Hi all, I've just been given a 250cc Majesty 1996 model. She runs well, has been fairly well maintained and to me still looks good.
I've got to go down the licensing route as I gave up riding years ago due to family car needs!!
To cut it short her Majesty is now in my shed awaiting a makeover as I want her back to pristine.
Are parts etc tricky to find now and are there any tips from anyone who may have worked on them?
Big ask from a newbie but must start somewhere so any advice greatfully received.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome. I would just run through what work has been done and when to give you idea. Belts and rollers last 12000 miles when was engine oil changed and gear oil and c how she runs did you get an owners manual?

Nice freebie! Don't worry about its age, if it's running well chances are it'll be fine. Service parts are easy, panels etc. I suspect you're limited to second hand stuff nowadays.

The 250 Maj is a good scooter, enjoy it!

Thanks all, the shed has been prepped ready for the project, I have the Haynes bible and this very helpful forum should times get tough. Have given myself a twelve week timeline as kids hols etc are on plus I've got to get that all important license. Here goes...

My tip of the day, remove seat before trying to remove plastic sides.
