I live in the Highlands 20 miles from Inverness I have been a motorcyclist since 1966 with a decade of in the Eighties.I am now thinking of getting a scooter. I will be asking your advice re models for a 6' 2'' rider soon.

Likewise i'm an "ex" motorcyclist turned scooterist.
Not really "ex" as a scooter is a motorcycle too but sometimes you wouldn't think so
Difference is i'm only 5'10" tall so most stuff fits me. My Maxsym has another 30mm rear adjustment and i'm pretty sure it wouldn't fit you even then unless you have extraordinarily short legs
So the first thing is you absolutely must get a sit on, and even better, a ride on the bikes you are considering. Failing that find someone with a similar build and find out what they ride.
I have a mate who is at least your height, maybe taller and i think he has just bought a s/h scoot.
I'll try to find out what it is.

Welcome to the forum. If you get an MP3 you can buy a taller seat for it. My two ha'pence worth.

Welcome, I'm a new convert to Maxi Scoots, and have a similar problem of being 6ft 4ins, and don't fit on many of them, ive just brought a 2002 Foresight 250, not the fastest thing in the world but its the only maxi ive been on which is comfortable for my height and the handlebars don't hit my knees. Most others ive had a chance to sit on haven't got enough leg room.

Onittino3, that's my mate I was talking about. I know that Honda Foresight. Belonged to another mate of mine !!
They are nice bikes and seem to fit the tall well although it's original owner was about my height. Comes with a nice screen as part of Honda's original equipment too. There seem to be plenty around and often in really good nick.
When onittino tried my bike he didn't fit. His knees were jammed up against the front legshields !

Yep the foresight does fit me quite well, I have only done about 200 miles in a single day but feel I could easy manage more, like Steve said I didn't fit on his Maxisym, I have also tried Honda Forza 300, Honda Nc700 and even the Voltus (the bat bike) didn't fit comfortable on any of them, being new to Maxi scoots i was never going to buy a new scoot because ive never ridden one before...but would now

I have so got a soft spot for the vultus
