Hi Guys
I'm a right side of 60 year old biker based in Devon and have a bit of trouble climbing over a petrol tank these days so three years ago bought my first ever scooter, a 2004 Sym joyride 200 which has been a hoot.
Loved the auto gears, storage and general ease of use right from the start.
I came across the forum while I was researching my next scoot and have just picked up a Daelim s3 250. Very very impressed so far. Big increase in power and braking performance but still getting used to linked brakes. I may have to wave goodbye to trail braking unless anyone has sage words on the subject.
The stock tires seem slightly slippy but the roads are very slick at the moment so maybe I'm judging too soon.
Hope to contribute to the forum more usefully as I gain experience on the new machine
Cheers
Rob
